Milestones are laid for marking the progress of a journey. Today, the LinkedIn page of Perth Digital Accessibility Group (PDAG) gained its 501st follower. This needs to be celebrated by publishing a poster thanking all well-wishers and supporters of PDAG. So I set out to create one that conveys the message well.
Poster Composition

On the poster, we have four distinct sections on a white canvas.
- A hero image showing four people holding up signs.
- An orange section with the body copy. It showcases a short letter-style message.
- A white section with the PDAG logo paired with website URL and email address.
- A blue footer section that functions as a closing tagline.
Hero Image
From the stock image website Magnific.com, I got a photo that shows four people holding circular signs over their faces. The photo already had the LinkedIn logo as the first sign on the left. I edited the remaining signs by adding the PDAG logo, the number ‘501,’ and the word ‘Followers.’
The original photo was already cropped in a tight close-up with the leftmost and rightmost circular signs missing their edges. To get a natural, informal look, I didn’t want to extend the image using AI tools. So I kept the image as it is, and decided to crop half of the letter ‘s’ of the word ‘Followers’ on the last sign.
The Final Output

The poster shows four people holding circular signs over their faces reading ‘in’ (LinkedIn logo), the Perth Digital A11y Group logo, ‘501’, and ‘Followers’. Text below reads: “Dear friends, today we have 501 followers on LinkedIn. Thank you for your continuous support! Perth Digital A11y Group: FREE Monthly Online Meetups on Digital Accessibility.” The PDAG website link and a contact email address are also displayed on the poster.
The typeface used on this poster is Atkinson Hyperlegible Next designed by the Braille Institute of America. I have used different weights and sizes of this typeface for content hierarchy.
When I first started with PDAG in 2024, their LinkedIn page had around 160 followers, which grew to about 200 by the end of that year. By the end of 2025, that had grown to about 400. In the first six months of 2026, we gained 100 more, bringing the final count to 501 followers. This is not an individual achievement, but the result of wholehearted support by the PDAG committee, well-wishers, and friends. 😊
Now we are aiming for 700 followers by this time next year!
